Green dreams about
Circular and sustainable food production systems
Our current fish and vegetable production systems have significant problems with environmentally damaging emissions, long transports, pollution, over-fishing and high water usage. Additionally, the resulting vegetables are of a relatively poor quality while restaurant chefs are actively looking for premium quality products and all year round delivery. New, sustainable ideas are needed.
Premium quality vegetables
Better taste, structure, colour and shelf life. 365 days per year.
Automated and data driven production
Living food factories with fish, bacterial cultures, vegetables and insects that work in symbiosis, at industrial scale. All systems are data driven and automated with state-of-the-art technology.
Locally grown rainbow trout
The fish in our systems are mainly there as a part of the nutrient cycle. But you can of course eat them too!
A real circular system
Complemented with food waste from our facility via insects, and mussels from the Baltic sea, we can create what may well be the world’s most advanced regional circular food production system.
Our system can produce a wider range of high quality products at lower production costs, with shorter transports, low water use and less environmental impact. All in a format which is scalable and reproducible near many of the world’s large cities.
The future of food production
The main product in our systems is vegetables. Our current focus is on leafy greens such as salads, herbs, kale etc. The fish we are raising is rainbow trout. In the future we expect to also produce fish feed, either ourselves or in collaboration with partner companies.
